About

First I would like to thank you for taking the time to review my work. In the paragraphs below I will share a brief bio  and  let you know where I've been and where I plan to be in the future.

I was born in Texas and my Family settled in Corvallis, Oregon when I was in the sixth grade. My Dad and I were always backpacking and white water canoeing so I grew up loving the outdoors. When I was thirteen years old I discovered surfing and I was hooked. Surfing is what got me into the Action Sports Industry and has had a large impact on why I'm where I am today.

 

In 2003 I earned an Associates Degree in Graphic Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. In 2005 I started working for the La Jolla Group as an Assistant Merchandiser for O'Neill clothing and I eventually promoted up to the position of Major Accounts SMU Designer. When the La Jolla Group acquired the license for Metal Mulisha I jumped at the opportunity to be a Cut n Sew Designer for the Men's Sportswear line. I worked for Metal Mulisha until 2013 where I reached the role of Senior Men's Sportswear designer. At the time that I left Metal Mulisha I was overseeing Men's, Boy's, Kid's and Toddlers Cut n Sew Sportswear lines and Men's Accessories with an Associate Apparel Desinger and an Accesory Designer as my assistants. In 2013 I left the Action Sports Industry in search of a new challenge and took a Product Developer position with 5.11 Tactical, one of the leading apparel and accessory companies in the Tactical world. After a year as a Product Developer I was cross promoted to an Apparel Designer position where I designed woven pants and active wear for the "Lifestyle" category of 5.11 Tactical.

Over the last 21 years I have worked for companies such as Jack's Surfboards, Laguna Surf n Sport, Billabong, Town & Country Surfboards Co., Xcel Wetsuits, O'Neill Clothing, Metal Mulisha, 5.11 Tactical, Boot Barn and most recently Callaway Golf/OGIO, the Top Tier golf club/golf accessory brand. I have experience in Apparel / Soft Goods / Accessory Design, Overseas Product Development,  Domestic Production, Motion Graphics Design, Music Production and Retail,.
